Carefully selected yak leg bones from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau are naturally shade-dried for three years to remove the fishy smell and preserve its rich aroma. The 108 beads are then carved into a dice shape, retaining the playfulness of dice while embodying the profound Buddhist concept of "transforming defilements into wisdom."

Precisely polished to standard standards, the stringing process is as smooth as flowing water. The bone is infused with traditional tea-cooking techniques, resulting in a gradient of light brown to amber. Sunlight reveals natural marrow patterns resembling dense Sanskrit script. After months of play, the dice develop a lustrous luster resembling mutton-fat jade, and feel as soft to the touch as the caress of infant skin.

The entire string can be wrapped around the wrist four times for counting and spiritual practice, or unfolded as a long pendant. The gentle clinking of the dice while walking evokes a recitation of the Six-Syllable Mantra, and the tinkling sound inspires a sense of meditation.

This string of beads is a delightful and elegant object for collectors—with time, the patterns on the dice will gradually patina and transform into jade, forming a unique "year-long hexagram." It also serves as a portable ritual tool for Tibetan Buddhists—each pattern on the dice can be used for visualization. Spinning the dice is like turning the Dharma wheel, helping practitioners to understand impermanence and see the universe within a small space. Included is a suede care bag and dice interpretation manual. Let this ox bone rosary, imbued with the humor of life and death, accompany you to comprehend the wisdom of Prajna with a playful spirit.
